27 November 2019, Kathmandu: The 4th National Congress of the All Nepal Security Workers’ Union (ANSWU) has elected Laxmi Dhakal as its president. Mr. Dhakal was elected from the national congress held on 26 Nov, 2019 in Kathmandu.
His team comprises of 75 members coming from different national and federal level unions from across the nation. Addressing the congress, Chairperson of the Education & Health Committee as well as the Fraction In-Charge of Trade Union Federation, Comrade Jayapuri Gharti congratulated the new team and wished all the best for its effective leadership role in days to come.
Similarly, the Action President of ANTUF Federation, Comrade Jagat Simkhada also thanked everyone in the team for their contribution to the federation and appealed everyone to work together to achieve greater goal.
The program was successfully held in kind presence of Vice Presidents Jaya Bahahdur Karki & Som Bahadur Thapa, Deputy General Secretaries Bishnu thapa, Sushila Pun (also member of parliament) and Som Tamang.
