Main Functions of UNI NLC:
UNI NLC works under the guidance of UNI APRO and UNI global union. in this context the main functions of UNI NLC are:
- To co-ordinate UNI and UNI APRO activities in Nepal
- To promote solidarity among the UNI affiliates in Nepal and with other UNI affiliates.
- To liaise in the promotion of UNI policies and propagation of the interests of UNI members in Nepal.
- To develop and strengthen the Independent and democratic trade union movement in Nepal, particularly those unions under UNI jurisdiction.
- To encourage affiliate unions for at least 4o% representation of any gender to ensure gander balance in executive committee /board, policy level.
