What is UNI Nepal ?

Nepal liaison Council (UNINLC)

When the unions were uniting and forming the single strength in international arena, trade unions in Nepal were divided in the name of various ideologies. They were working separately in workers issues with no single voice. Hence, they lacked success in protecting workers rights. Considering and analyzing this fact, UNI APRO regional secretary brother Christopher Ng and some key officials from some of the current affiliate unions took initiation and formed a liaison center in Nepal on 22nd December 2002 which is known as UNI Nepal Liaison Council. Current membership is 102,716.

Nepal Liaison council is the coordinating center for UNI and its Nepalese affiliate unions. It facilitates and supports with all the activities of UNI and its affiliate unions in Nepal.
